Congratulations to our Rising Stars
This year we are absolutely delighted that four of our staff have received a Rising Star Award from the Printing Charity.
In existence for almost 200 years, The Printing Charity is one of the UK’s oldest benevolent charities, originally established to support printers and their dependents.
Today the charity operates nationally, providing practical, emotional, and financial support for people in crisis as well as championing young talent within our vibrant industry.
Run on an annual basis, the Rising Star Awards are the largest dedicated awards programme recognising the best young talent in printing industry.
Applicants must be in a job role within print, paper, packaging, publishing and graphics and be aged between 18 and 30.
To apply each candidate needs to provide a plan of where they want to go in their career and outline the training needed to get there.
Chace Vaughan, Daniel Greyson, Jake Raynor and Jacob Morton will all receive £1500 to invest in personal skills development and training to help support their careers.
The winners were all invited to Cholmondeley Room and Terrace, at the House of Lords on Thursday 4th July 2024 to receive their awards, a huge achievement and very well deserved.
It is inspiring to see we have such young talent, wanting to develop in their own chosen professional fields here at Roberts Mart, and we are pleased to be able to nurture and develop this talent, providing support, guidance and time during work hours to accommodate these learning goals.
