Taking part in the Great North Run

A fantastic effort from Roberts Mart team members, Dom, Liam and Catherine who completed the Great North Run on Saturday 13th September raising £1360 for our chosen charity Andy’s Man Club. 

It was a great day for the world’s biggest half marathon, which this year turned out to be the biggest yet. 63,000 runners took to the streets of Newcastle to challenge themselves on this famous city to sea route, raising money for charities near and far.  The event was expected to raise a massive £25m across the weekend!

Around 200,000 people turned out to line the streets in support, with the event being broadcast live on BBC One in the UK and to over 170 countries worldwide.

Our trio looked very smart in their co-branded shirts and proudly represented Roberts Mart, joining a list of celebrities as well as some of the world’s leading athletes.
