Roberts Mart Family Open Day
On Saturday 20th September we held our inaugural Family Open Day, welcoming over 150 people to our head office at Aire Valley House.
Staff members and their families were invited to an informal get together with the opportunity to view our new warehouse, take a guided tour of the facility and learn more about our printing machines and the business in general.
Roberts Mart was founded in 1852 and is still an independent, privately owned business run by the sixth generation of the Roberts family. A series of display boards were set up around the buildings to explain the history and development of the company with both Ben and William Roberts on hand to answer any questions.
Visitors enjoyed lunch and refreshments with treats from the ice cream van. There was a Roberts Mart quiz, and entertainers were on hand to keep the younger family members busy.
It was great to see so many of our staff at the event and to meet their families. Thank you to everyone who made it such a special day.
