Outstanding Contribution Award for John Roberts
Our Chairman, John Roberts, was presented with the Outstanding Contribution to the Flexographic Industry Award by the CEO of the UK Flexographic Industry Association, (FIA), Debbie Waldron-Hoines at the recent awards ceremony in Liverpool.
The award honours a remarkable career spanning over 60 years that commenced in 1964 when John joined Roberts Mart. Throughout the following decades John transformed the company through relentless innovation, from pioneering the patented Roll Pack Carrier Bag in 1991 to leading major technological investments, including modern flexo presses and state-of-the-art facilities. Under his leadership, Roberts Mart grew fivefold and became a leader in flexible packaging.
John’s vision, dedication, and commitment to excellence have left an enduring legacy, shaping both his family business and the wider flexographic industry.
