- Maintain BRC hygiene standards on the Extruders
- Support with warehouse duties and ancillary support to the extrusion equipment
Core Duties/Responsibilities
- Working at height
- To maintain the required BRC hygiene standards on the extruders by undertaking a robust cleaning/painting schedule
- Ensure all aspects of Health and safety, BRC and ISO are fully met.
- Support production in their ‘clean as you go’ standard in and when capacity
- Support with warehouse duties and ancillary support on the extrusion equipment.
- Supporting in the warehouse by performing a number of duties i.e. loading and unloading of vehicles pertaining the warehouse; maintain warehouse cleanliness using the floor scrubber, internal stock movements, moving of resin pallets.
- Train in basic extrusion knowledge so the role can eventually support the production team and succession planning
- Trained to use the Silo Blower and Resin Drier
- Trained on the Core Cutter
- Emptying of large bins into external skips
- Train on the NGR recycling machine
- Month end stock taking duties
- Support maintenance with the PPM schedule.
Cleaning duties during machine shut down (i.e., Die strip/breakdown)

Skills, Capabilities and Attributes
- Fork Lift Licence
- Some understanding of extrusion/manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of Health & Safety, ISO/BRC and hygiene standards
- Some understanding of the ancillary processes linked to Extrusion
- Harness certificated
- PASMA training for access platforms/scaffolding
- IPAF license for mobile and static access equipment
- Ability to work both efficiently and effectively alone, as well as part of a large and varied team.
- Flexibility and excellent attention to detail is essential.
- Enjoy working to deadlines and targets in a fast-paced environment.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, with ability to check own and team work outputs.
