Roberts Mart has continued its £9m investment by installing a CMD 1552ED rotary bag machine to coincide with its new flexible packaging facility outside Leeds.
The company said the machine has enabled it to produce high quality bags at a high speed due to the machine being rotary instead of flatbed.
Helping to run the new £8.75m site, which was built last July, the company has also recruited Simon Plomer-Roberts as group manager.
Group MD John Roberts said: “The business required and additional person to oversee current activities, and hiring externally meant we could benefit from a fresh outlook and a new approach to opportunities.”
