Project Lead – Warehouse Operations

Role Summary

Main Purpose of the role

• Implementation of KPI drivers
• Planning peak training and throughput volumes
• Ensure Warehouse compliance of BRC, Health and Safety, and ISO9001
• Maintain the continues improvement plan
• Inspire the logistics team to deliver a first-class service to both external and internal customers at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties

Key duties and responsibilities

• Verify & monitor FLT behaviours utilising ISITE portal investigating any reports of impacts or poor behaviours in a timely manner
• Improve HSE processes and culture within Warehouse department
• Investigate all Accidents, Incidents & Near Misses within Warehouse Department in a timely manner establishing root cause and corrective actions (liaising with HR Manager/ HSE Manager/ Production Director)
• Ensure a substantial presence within Warehouse Department enabling Supervision/ Monitoring of Warehouse Personnel
• Devise and implement a training programme for new Warehouse Operators
• Gap Analysis of skills and training within Warehouse Department

Duties

• Introduce full suite of SOP
• Support both the Dispatch and Warehouse Mangers.
• Investigate all Accidents, Incidents & Near Misses within Warehouse Department in a timely manner establishing root cause and corrective actions (liaising with HR Manager/ HSE Manager/ Production Director)
• Devise and implement a training programme for new Warehouse Operators

Health and safety

• Carry out regular inspections of all sites
• Ensure a substantial presence within Warehouse Department enabling Supervision/ Monitoring of Warehouse Personnel
• Gap Analysis of skills and training within Warehouse Department
• Complete near miss and incident reports
• Complete racking checks as requested on time and in full
• Sema racking inspection

Managing attendance

• Monitor and communicate absence levels for area/shift.
• Ensure Return to work interviews are completed in a timely manner
• Holiday planning
