During the 1990's with the redevelopment of the often derelict industrial land along the river. Bank Mills became a valuable development site and Roberts Mart began to look at the possibility of moving. By this time both William and Ben had joined the business.

A suitable location was discovered on a greenfield site which was close not only to Romar but also to the motorway link between the A1 and M1. Plans were drawn up for a modern purpose-built factory and offices which would meet the latest stringent environmental and hygiene requirements, improve material handling, management control and productivity and through further investment in new plant and machinery, provide a further stimulus to the firm's growth.

In July 2004 Roberts Mart left Bank Mills for Thornes Farm Business Park in the order expand and to meet our customers needs more efficiently.
